Veterinarian authorized products ship only after Petco receives an authorization from your vet. We will not need to reach out to your vet or you if the authorization includes refills. When all available refills are used or the authorization expires, we will reach out to your vet to obtain a new authorization. For new authorizations, we will attempt to reach your vet for a total of 5 days. If your vet does not respond within 5 days, we will then reach out to you for a total of 3 days. Does the Royal Canin Urinary Feline cat treat have expiration date? If I order 4 packages of them at once for two large chubby cats which will last a while. Will they go bad?
Why are the Royal Canin cats urinary treats out of stock everywhere!! My cat loves them and she has to have only these treats!! I’ve looked everywhere snd online. Did you quit making them??
- I don't believe they have quit making them - it's probably a function of reduced factory staff due to the pandemic. I have always found them at the various pet online sites.

About how many treats are in one bag?
- I've never counted but there are a lot. About 2 cups full I'd guestimate. I have 3 cats and they have treats everyday, 2-3x a day. The bag lasts about a month.

My cat is on royal cain so urinary tract food, he had crystals in his urine a couple of months ago. He is not eatting the wet food, but is eatting the dry, i like to give them both. Can i replace the wet with pro plan focus urinary tract heath? Theyhave 4 kinds of cat food, instead of one kind.
In January our cat was diagnosed with crystals in his urine. He was put on Hills Urinary Control food. For a short time I was able to get Royal Canin Treats for him. Then the vets said they couldn't approve them until he was seen in their office. He was doing great on his diet and loved the treats. We can't afford to take him to a vets just to see if he can have those treats. Why do they have to be "Vet Approved"? They are safe and keep the crystals from forming again.
One of our male cats recdently had a blockage and we had to take him to emergency. We got there in the nick of time, he was going into kidney failure! Naturally he now has to be on special prescription food. The Hill's c/d he doesn't like at all. The Royal Canin he tolerates but will hardly eat it. I always try to mix something else in but it's just a chore to get him to eat now and the poor guy is hungry. He does love Royal Canin's dry SO food and treats. What else can I feed him?
My cats been prescribed royal canin wet so food for urinary issues. Thing is, he hates it. I can get it in him but he picks at it. I've added fortiflora, crushed treats, water, etc. he still doesn't love it. Thing is, he loves the dry version of the same food. He drinks a ton of water on this food. Would it be so terrible to give him the dry version? Oh I've also tried every single company's version of the prescription food too so it's not one brand. He hates them all ( wet).
How can I help my cats urinary blockage
My cat was recently diagnosed with a lower urinary tract infection and crystals. He was prescribed veraflox and the vet recommended I switch his food to Royal Canin urinary SO. I have no problem buying the food, but it’s very expensive for the small amount of food. Is there another brand of food that I can use that will do the same thing? Or is there a better food then Royal Canin? I just want the best for my boy.
My cat was almost two he was diagnosed w/FLUTD and had crystals in his urine. He had a perineal urethrostomy after being diagnosed. He was originally on hills science c/d and s/d but that became very expensive. He has been one Purina One urinary tract health dry food for about 1.5 years and has had no urinating issues. I want him to lose weight (18lbs) & don't know if his wet food should be urinary or weight loss focused and what his dry food should focus on since I'm doing a mixed diet.
Female cat had urinary crystals w/ UTI & vet RX'd royal canin urinary so for two weeks. After that time can I switch to Royal Canin OTC urinary & hairball food? Its half the price.
looking for a urinary tract wet cat food for my very picky 8 year old. will not eat any classic or pate. currently eating purina one urinary tract in gravy. he has the dry food and wont eat it even if I mix them together. does not like the licks either.

Am I able to give him deathly bites urinary care treats as I can't find any Crystal management treats. I have 2 other cats who's has treats and don't want him to be left out.
Hello! My cat has urinary tract infections from time to time and problems and my vet reccomeneded feeding him wet and dry Hill's Science Diet Urinary to help him. Unfortunetly, I have been purchasing this very expensive food for him but it does not help and has been making him lose weight. My question is, What would be the best reasonably priced urinary cat food that I can feed him that will help his tract issues and keep him at a healthy weight?
My vet has prescribed to may cat Royal canin SO (as he had Urinary disease). However, I read its ingredients, it contains lots of grain and carbs, meat quality and content are also very dubious (probably 4D meats). Are there any alternatives against urinary disease, but grain-free, low carbs and good meat?
