This gate is amazing. It reminds me of New Orleans style French and Spanish architecture. I wish it were wider for a bigger space I’m using it for. I purchased 2 extra extenders for each side. They are very small as well unlike other wider extenders. The gate only allows for one added extender on each side and can’t be used with my other extenders due to the screws not fitting so you HAVE to buy the matching ones for this gate. With all of that said, it’s still an excellent purchase. High enough so my kittens can’t jump over it (at least not yet). For a more sophisticated look this gate is the one. I have not seen or found anything else comparable height and style combined.

Love this gate! I am using it to keep my 3 month old bunny away from a bedroom/bathroom area in the house. The door provides a wide enough space to walk through comfortably. The space between the bars at its widest point is about 2 inches, so know what your little animal is capable of fitting through before purchasing. I like that the door can swing open in either direction, and that the metal mesh is see-through, allowing me to see my bun bun when he approaches.

My opening is almost 40". Do any extenders come with the unit? Seems like 36.5" is the actual door but wanting to confirm with extenders the total width.
