I really like this bowl for weekend trips. It has a plastic bowl that nests into the metal bowl and is covered by the lid for travel. I would have preferred that the nested bowl be metal as well, because plastic bowls aren't as sturdy and long-lasting, but it's a great concept. The only other issue is that the lid is sometimes tricky to get on (but once it's on - it's on). I've also used it just to take a bowl of water along in my car for walks in the park, so my dog has a nice bowl of water when we get back to the car and it doesn't spill in the car and I don't have to take a separate water bottle. He drinks from a metal bowl at home, so he seems to like drinking from this on the go vs a collapsible silicon bowl, which is what I used to use.

We used the bowl on a recent trip hiking. The lid is a little hard to get on, but that is a good thing when you are putting the bowl in a backpack. I liked being able to seperate kibble from the freeze dried raw food. It is nice quality and cleans well. Love the color.

Took on a overnight trip with my dog, travelled for about 3 hours each way. Was able to store his kibble in the large bowl during our communte. Once we arrived at our destination I was able to transport his kibble to the small bowl and use the large bowl for his water. It was easy to clean in the hotel room.

I love this bowl! It’s absolutely awesome. I travel a lot to my Mom’s house 4 hours away and it is a lifesaver. There is the main large bowl for dry food and a plastic insert that sits on top that I use for wet food. It’s so easy to use and dishwasher safe. Other colors are available, but I like the grayish-green. It absolutely deserves the 5 stars!

This is a great dog product for those dog parents that travel with their pup! It held all of my dog’s food (plus plenty of treats!) for the day when we were traveling- close to seven cups! There is a separate container to easily separate between dog food/treats or multiple dogs food. It is also slip-resistant so doesn’t move when my dog was eating for it. Also great for cleanup- it is top shelf dishwasher safe!

Not even kidding, the quality of this product is comparable to any camp gear you might find in REI. I love the fact that it comes stackable so things can be kept separate, but together the same time. The rubberized areas also minimize damage if manhandled and keep it in place on wet surfaces.
