Looking for something colorful and unique? Try the Rainbow Stiphodon Goby! It's easy to see how they received their name by all their color markings. They have a small size of about 2.5" and are a great recommendation for both new and experienced hobbyists. This goby can be put in just about any aquarium with the exception of ones with aggressive tank mates. The Rainbow Stiphodon Goby prefers planted tanks with strong filtrations, but will still be happy without plants and in small aquariums as long as there is plenty of hiding places. They will eat just about anything you offer them, but it is best to offer a variety of meaty frozen food and flake food.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

Brazilian rainbow boa. 5 months old. Eating regularly. Humidity maintained above 85 percent. The snake has developed white blisters on its back and head. One looks substantial, the other looks to have just started. I've had the snake for 5 weeks and she did her first shed 3 days ago. It came off in one piece and looked fine to me. She got a new water bowl 7 days ago and has taken to hiding under it. I can't afford a vet for another 6 days but I've read she needs immediate care. Please help :(
