I read that Ragdoll cats are fairly low shed bc they don't have an undercoat. I was wondering if the combination of one of these products & a low shedding cat would make them almost allergy free? A racoon or possum may be showing interest in my cat flap door that is installed in storm door,... is there anything I can put there over night when closed to repel? Will lavender branch or rosemary or mint keep them away? Will keeping outside flood liget keep them away? Any suggestions or experience will be greatly appreciated. I love in new jersey usa. Is rubbing alcohol safe to use as cleanser/ sanitizer around cat?
I’m worried one of my cats drank rubbing alcohol. I just noticed the cup was dry. It only had enough in it to cover the bottom. There are 2 cats and both are acting normal. What should I watch for? Can I do anything right now? The emergency vet is 45 minutes away and it’s pouring down rain. Here is a photo with the size of the cup. It was there for at least 6 hours. Could it have evaporated? It was just a thin layer, enough to cover a needle.

My fat cat is not very active and I don't know what toys to use-she usually play's with a small rubber type of toy but she sometimes eats the heads off She has a rubber grape she carries around Is this bad? Any toy recommendations?
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
