What does this prestige cat tower weigh? Is it completely assembled? One piece?
- Shopping weight is 90 lbs. It is not assembled but honestly it's a 5 minute assembly time. Very very easy to assemble. I've had mine for two years now and it's fantastic. We have a 16 lb siamese snowshoe and it easily handles him. Extremely sturdy and the best cat tree I've ever owned. All hard wood not composite.

My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
I have about 75 cats(joke), nine inside. I know... all neutered. one outside 99%-neutered. Steven, out, comes in only bad weather cause Bruce, bully, and Charlotte, bully, all want to jump him. problem, I think is territory. Bruce pees in my room CONSTANTLY. idiot Charlotte pees DIRECTLY on my pine paneling...LIKE A BOY!!! Need gromming store for my cat
I am going to purchase a cat bed for my cat soon, I wanted to take a proffesional's advise on where to place my cat bed (please look at attached photos). My cat's favourite place to nap and relax is either the bed or the cat tree, recently the bed more. When shes not napping, she spends time at the kitchen window watching birds and people walking. Otherwise she's playing and running around with her toys.
Will my 6 month old kitten grow out of playing in her litter box? It's so unsanitary. We got her a tower recently that she doesn't even touch, plus lots of boxes for her to play in. How can I get her to use cat tower more? Feliway doesn't seem to work.
I have a long haired elderly maincoon/tabby mix with mats all over his body because he is too overweight to reach them and honestly doesnt even try. Is there some product we can use to help him out? Shedding brushes are useless at this point and we've nearly resorted to a professional groomer.
Our cat is 13 years old. He has a lax "knee joint " on his left hind leg, and hip issues as well. We use boxes as stairs so he can climb up on his favorite places. He will not take Tramadol, and glucosamine apparently is out because he's a Maine Coon, and our vet says that that breed can have heart issues from glucosamine. He also has aches and pains which we think are from a mild case of dermal blastomycosis, which he was diagnosed with five years ago. Wish we could help him . Any ideas?
This came out of our cat today and we don’t know what it is. Recently to vet for urine obstruction. Part Mainecoon. Approx 2 yrs old. Not eating or drinking much since vet visit 2 days ago.
