My dog loves carrots, & my family loves to feed her carrots. I know raw carrots can be tough on a dog’s digestion and I have noticed tummy issues in the last few days. I put her on a soft rice diet, but I still notice orange bits in her poop. How much is too many carrots? We give 1-3 nickel size pieces almost every day. What are other low cal healthy treats?

Hi I just purchased a 2 year old dachshund a week ago. I was told by the breeder he liked crinkle toys, but he has shown no interest in toys, raw hides, or chews. Can I do anything to get him interested in these? I am worried that he cannot entertain himself when I am away because he pretty much follows me around everywhere or sits by me. This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball. It squeaks like his old ball & smells like bacon. He seemed to like new ball & we played inside for a couple hours off & on. When I took him outside & threw it he ran to the ball sniffed it &walked away. The only ball he brings is the old one. What should I do? Thanx. Carolyn.

my 14 pound yorkie mix is 12 years old. She ate a large piece of carrot and I don't think she chewed much of it. She is in no distress, never choked as it went down and is currently sleeping peacefully. She gets tiny carrot pieces for an occasional treat and tolerates that well. Is there anything I should do?

Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys? Thank you.
