This tabletop device automatically stops your dog's nuisance barking, no collar required. You can restore peace and quiet in your home by simply placing the Indoor Bark Control on a table or counter in the room where your dog barks the most. Then, whenever your dog barks, he will hear a 2-second ultrasonic tone to discourage him from barking. You can set the unit to go off automatically every time your dog barks, or you can manually press a button to activate the tone sound. I bought this 3 weeks ago. The description says it could take up to 2 weeks to be effective. It has not worked even a little bit. If anything, it just spurs her on more.

I put the battery in it my dog went under the bed until i took them back out waited little while put battery back in dog went under bed and wouldn't come back out until i removed them again

The bark machine does what it's supposed to do-every time my dogs bark, it flashes a red light and I can my dogs visibly react to to it. One of my dogs almost immediately cut down on his barking so huge plus there. The other isn't deterred by it as much, maybe a little, so we have to try something else. My big issue is that it eats through batteries FAST!!! I think the box said you'd have to replace the battery every 2 weeks. I think I'm averaging 5 days. And 9 volt batteries aren't cheap!

It stopped working. Very frustrating. Changed batteries, green light blinks, when I push the manual button, red light.

I bought this today, 2out of 3 dogs it works great on. It’s a lot quieter.

It works to inhibit barking but terrorizes my dog if children are triggering the device during play. I would suggest a simple on/off switch. (Taking the battery in and out is not practical!)

I have been using this for 3 months. My dogs are older, home-in-the-country dogs and we had to move into an apartment building in a city. They were barking at everything. Popped battery in this and it worked like a charm. I was out walking my dogs and my upstairs neighbor said “your dogs are so quiet, they never bark” and I told him it’s because of this. Not sure why it didn’t work with other dogs according to other reviews. It worked on their first barks for me. I now take it to hotels, keep it in the car for road trips, it is super helpful. They still bark (quietly) if someone comes near the door or car, though. I’m still alerted if they feel something is dangerous but they aren’t going nuts when people come in and out of the building.
