This is the only toy my orange tabby will play with and I’ve tried everything! It’s lasted us a couple of years too! Just replaced it with a new one and he is so happy :)

The faux feather is actually just poorly made pieces of fabric that fell off before I even opened the toy. The handle is also not straight Took my cat 1 paw and a catch to splash the fabric every where. Life expectation of this toy is 3 days.

Buyer Beware! This is a potentially dangerous toy. Within mere minutes my cat was shredding it apart in her mouth. She swallowed pieces of it before I could get it out. Needless to say this toy is going into the garbage.

Be warned it's pretty cheap. As someone who works with fake fur regularly it's literally just a strip of raw fur wit some feathers and doodads stuck into it. However I'm getting a backup because my little skittish girl for some reason loves it and while I'm also making her one myself, I want to be sure she has her favorite toy on hand. Just be aware it's NOT the nice feather boa it looks like in the pretty blurry picture, but a literal strip of raw fabric before you buy. Some other users have good images of the item now with the backing shown. Was I a little disappointed when I got it and realized I could have literally cobbled together something out of stuff I already had on hand? A little. Is it worth getting more just because my cat fell in love with it and actually leaps around because she wants to pounce it when she's barely interested in the other wand toys? You bet.

Both my kittens LOVE this teaser. They've had it 2 months now, and it never ever ever fails to get their attention, and they will play with it non-stop, until basically I'm tired. They'll also treat it like a kicker and cuddle up with it. One of my kitties (the one who loves to grab my hair) will sometimes bite and pull at the fur, but has never seemed to ingest it, and it was never a lot. I think it's the combo of types of material, plus that little white bit hanging off on side that makes it additionally exciting. Honestly, best toy they've ever had.

Maybe every online shopper has a moment of weakness when they forget the addage, "you get what you pay for." This toy was mine. It is not an elegant strip of feathers, but a scratchy, shedding, stinky scrap of cheap faux fur with some ok feathers stuck to the end. My cat is offended by it but will bite at the end feathers if I hide the rest of the thing. The prospect of retooling the end bit into a better toy is the reason for 2 rather than 1 star.

My cat had average interest in this toy so I'm really okay with the design. However, the furry part was shedding fur really bad and leaving a mess after play times, so just keep that in mind :(
