It seemed to be helpful according to his blood work. However, Murray has been less and less agreeable to taking it on his food. So I give it to him less often.

Back in September, my 15 Year-old cat had a bout of liver inflammation for no apparent reason. Fast forward to January---her liver enzymes were normal, and even her kidney function was near-normal!!! I couldn't be happier! I've been giving her the Milk Thistle daily all this time, and I'm just about ready to start a second bottle. Our cat died of apparent liver type problems so we really did not get a chance to see if it would have helped. I will be donating this to a friend with multiple cats.

My cat has a slightly elevated liver ALT value. My dog is given Milk Thistle for liver support because the protection against parasites puts a strain on his liver. Milk thistle is a great herb.

Waste of money. No visible improvement in my cat. So, I guess it's back to the regular vet.

I've just started using milk thistle in the past month. However, my cat is getting it in his wet food, & doesn't seem to mind. I will be able to give a better review in about 8 weeks, when milk thistle will have more effect. I will say that his poops are MUCH better & more regular. His appetite is good, & I'm giving him several small meals throughout the day. Also, my vet approved the milk thistle.
