They keep my dogs reasonably dry during the rain. The biggest problem I've had is the hook to put around the buttons for the hood. I had to return 1 of 1 coats because the hook wasn't big enough to go around the button. The other problem was they forgot to make a cut for the harness hook to go through so you can hook up the lease to the harness.

Buy one size smaller if too much space between body & raincoat as you don’t have to cover to the tail...better to have this raincoat fit closer to body bro keep furry babies warm & dry!

I bought this about two weeks ago and it fit my dog perfectly. I was looking for a rain coat for her since she has relatively long hair and tends to stay wet for a long time. Since the jacket is waterproof AND reflective, its a win win! Would totally buy it in more colors.

Great little cold, wet weather coat

This will be the second purchase for this coat - we also have one in red. After around 4 years the underside plastic is peeling on the first one. It also had a bit too much coat for a slim Chihuahua. If you can sew, run a seam along each side - narrow hear the arms and widening at the hem. Or take to your tailor - worth it, as this will last a number of years. It has a soft and warm fleece lining, perfect for cold, wet/damp weather. Even layer a little sweater or t-shirt underneath for extra warmth.
