I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball. It squeaks like his old ball & smells like bacon. He seemed to like new ball & we played inside for a couple hours off & on. When I took him outside & threw it he ran to the ball sniffed it &walked away. The only ball he brings is the old one. What should I do? Thanx. Carolyn.

My dog ate a small rubber gem(toy) she's a smaller dog chihuahua mix not sure with what I bv think like terrier or something. The gem is about as big around as a quarter and like 1/4 inch thick maybe. What should I do?

My sister, parents, and I are all very busy people, and while we manage to take Conan for a walk most days, and there’s almost always someone home with him, I feel like he’s not getting enough mental and physical stimulation. He’s still young and very energetic. He’s not super interested in kibble-dispensers, unless there are HIGH quality treats, because he’s never been very food-motivated. Do you have any recommendations for energy-burning games or brain stimulating toys for him?
sorry they’re not pedigree tasty bites. we just keep these snacks in that package because the pedigree one closes, and the original package for this snack doesn’t, so when the pedigree ones were done we put this small bones there. they’re called “snack mini-bone” by activpet but they’re no available in the US. i do remember that in the original package it said it was good as a reward for exercise.
I adopted a very overweight dog. I am working on weight management and she has lost some weight but I'm concerned as she gobbles her food down literally in a minute. I just bought the puzzle bowl but she can only reach one morsel at a time using her tongue as she is a big dog. This doesn't seem right either but I don't know. It definitely slowed her eating. Our Norweign Elkhound/Black Lab (60 lbs) chewed a chunck of her soft rubber ball about the size of a half dollar, I think she tore it in pieces because I found a couple of small pieces laying near by. They do not have sharp edges, it is after vet hours of course, she seems to be doing fine, what do I do?
