- No, small bites are made for younger and smaller dogs. My Shepard mix and Vizsla have been on Nutro since the start and absolutely love it.

How often should I clean my new filter....?
- I clean mine once a month,,also service the UV Light as well.I live in the south and it rarely gets as cold as you(but have had ice about 1in thick),but filter kept going just fine.I have not put in a heater,but my KOI do ok thru the cold months,I just move my potted plants inside..
