A lot of wasted treats

MAKS

I've been using these treats for awhile because they are low in sugar. My horse likes them, but the treats crumble so much that I feel I've wasted a lot of money. At the end of this bag there was 5oz. of dust and 6 oz. of crumbs. (In a 4lbs. bag!) Too bad because they are a nice snack for Cushing's horses.

My horse loves these! They are a nice size. I use them during training. I like how they are low sugar so I don’t have to worry so much about giving them more.

CHOKE HAZARD

These should come with a warning label to be soaked. They’re just thick beat pulp pellets with wheat middlings. My horse choked within 20 minutes of eating a few handfuls of these. My vet said she’d only seen a choke like that on beat pulp and sure enough, guess what these are of??!! If you have to soak beet pulp pellets then you have to soak these!

Choking Hazard

Someone gave me a bag of these for Christmas. Yesterday one of my horses choked on one and I thought it was a fluke. Then today a DIFFERENT horse also choked on them. I will never feed these again.

Love the treats, hate that 1/4 of bag is powder!

I have given these treats to my horses for years and they love them. I like that they are small and work great for training. Over the past few months, the bags have had a very large amount of powder. I have to sift for treats once the bag reaches the 1/2 way mark and about 1/4 of the bag is 100% powder! Such a waste and a huge disappointment! This has been son issue with the last 5 bags (anise) so it's more than just one bad bag. Beware, the treats are great bit the powder is awful!

They are always sealed good but you never know if you’re gonna get a molded bag or a good bag

For the love of God do NOT FEED THESE TREATS!!

I bought these treats for my horse and mule to try for the first time. The second day I had these treats my mule choked! Thank God I was there when it happened. Had to hand walk for an hour before the vet got there. After what seemed like forever, she finally was able to pass the tube and break up the blockage. After looking at the contents, she told me the blockage looked like beet pulp material. I told her that the only thing I fed the mule was some of the treats, and when I showed her the bag she said that these treats are notorious for causing choke! She just did a lecture at URI College on choke and used these treats specifically as one of the causes! Do not feed these treats unless you want an emergency visit with your vet for choking
