Questions
Does this or any other playpen cages (not soft cages) come with a top? I need a different playpen for my 1 yr old Bengals. One has learned how to unzip the zipper to the opening of my soft foldable playpen. I need a playpen with harder material & a top.
- Thank you for your question. While North States does carry a Superyard made from metal, we do not have any Superyards that can adapt to be a kennel by attaching a lid to it. Our play yards are all intended to be an open enclosure.

I don't understand the reason for the doggie door in this pen. If you want to contain your puppy in this, why the doggie door for him to get out of? Does it have a latch / lock on it?
- Thank you for your question. The great feature of the doggie door on this pen is that it locks when needed. You may want to keep you're pet contained at night but let him roam freely during the day. In this instance, simply lock the door for containment and then use the grip-n-twist latch to unlock.

Can this move easily on a tile a floor? I want to use it for a puppy while we are away from the house. She weighs about 15lbs. I am worried she will jump and collapse it.
- Thank you for your question. This Petyard has skid-resistant pads that come with it which help prevent it from slipping or sliding on a tile floor. Keep in mind that since every puppy is different, we cannot guarantee it will work with yours. We have two pups... one about 10 pounds, the other 25. Of course, both are growing. Will this be suitable for a dog that will be about 40 pounds?

I want to use this as an outdoor exercise pen. Will it withstand all types of weather?
- Thank you for your question. Yes, the Petyard Passage can be used outdoors as an exercise pen. We recommend storing the yard when not in use.

Would this be big enough for two small dogs. One is 6lbs one is 10lbs.
- Thank you for your question. With six panels, the Petyard Passage is 18.5 square feet or 5 1/2 feet across (corner to corner) which is a nice size for two small dogs. You can also add a two-panel extension to this yard to make a total of eight panels which will increase the yard size to 34.4 square feet or 6 1/2 feet across (corner to corner).

Is this sectional pen compatible with " Summer " brand pen ? The sections are 30 inches high and about 32 inches wide
- Thank you for your question. All of the North States plastic Petyards are compatible with each other but are not compatible with other brands like 'Summer'.

I am not sure of the total circumference of this pen? It is for a new puppy starting weight of 6 pounds growing to 9-10 pounds. Is it total of 36 inches around or larger? Does it come in different color?
- Thank you for your question. The diameter of the 6 panel gray Petyard Passage is 5 1/2 feet across (corner to corner); that's 18.5 square feet. The Petyard Passage also comes in brown with 8 panels or 4 panels.

My very large male cat has trouble getting intout his litter pan.. Do you know where I can get a large, very large pan?
I need to know the general guidelines on how much exercise and stimulation a large dog requires. I work at a place where a large dog (Great Pyrenees) is kept in an 8 x 10 structure 24 hours a day. It is too large to run in the pen. He is 4 yrs of age and has been locked up at least a year, I used to take it for walks but no longer can. I'm attempting to get the owner to rethink this but require some professional support. The dog is digging and chewing up his dog house.
Our puppy is 11 mnths and is trained to ring a bell and go outside to do her business. She will be staying with my Mom when we are on vacation, and she lives in a 2nd floor apartment. My question is, would it be okay to put the bell on the door to the balcony, then put a “grass” pee pad out there for her to use? We leave in 2 days.

So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
My 3 month old pup seems to have separation anxiety. My boyfriend and I both work during the day, one of us coming home at lunch to walk her. During the time we are not at the house we put her in a kennel. She barks constantly and has accidents in her kennel. I wanted to get her a gated off play-pen that i could leave her in while we are at work. I figured it is more room to let her roam around a bit and I can put her favorite bed/ toys for comfort. Is this a bad or good idea for a young puppy?

I'm having trouble trying to find the proper enclosure for my dog. She seems to be having separation anxiety and she already destroyed a part of my door after only being alone for 2 hours. I'm gone for work for about 9 hrs a day so I don't want something where she wouldn't be able to move comfortably..what should I do?
Hello, my 3 yr old Lab mix has severe separation anxiety, he follows us all around the house and never leave our side, he's very good when we leave him alone in the house when we go out, when I try to leave him alone in the back yard he starts whining and get very stressed out, I tried leaving him alone in the yard when he was younger and he always jump the fence, now that he's older I afraid that he might try it again, Please help, Regards Eunice
We are getting a 6 week old male shih tzu. Is it ok to plane his potty pad and bed in his playpen? He will be kept in his playpen when we are not home and he will sleep in it over night. When we are home do we keep his potty pad in the play pen so he knows that spot for him to always go? Also do we leave his bed in there for him to go nap when we are home? We will leave the gate to his playpen open when we are home
