Product recommendation pls: naturvet Omega gold plus salmon oil chews vs VetriScience derma strength every day health chews; pls see attached pics. Looking for Omega 3 supplement (chews). Nikki eats core wellness grain free ocean flavor. Being using VetriScience, her itchiness from unknown allergy hasn't improved. On the other hand, I would like to know where/how I can get cytopoint, asked my vet but they don't have it. Thanks !
Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). There's lawsuit (July 2017) against wellness food (arsenic & lead), should I switch to other brand?if so, which one please? Thanks.
Which supplement (s) should I give my 5 year old Shih Tzu. He has seasonal allergies, dandruff, dry itchy skin, hot spots, and is allergic to flea bites.
My pup is scratching...tears dropping out of eyes. I bought some Well Good Allergy Aid soft chews.... I just don't know how often I should give him one.
My female cat has a some type of alergy and is broke out on her back to the point that is seeping is there a natural remedy I can use on her.
My dog has always had itchy skin, goopy eyes. Now shes sneezing/wheezing a lot. apt next door is being renovated so I think dust is part problem but I think it’s mostly allergies. Apoquel is too $$ & I don’t want a lifelong Rx. Generic Loratadine doesn’t help. Any recos? Thoughts on Quercetin, tho most have fillers? She also has food allergies which I think we solved with food switch that eliminated red belly bumps. But she still itches. Fatty acid oil doesn’t help. Is this all allergies?
The best cat food for skin allergies due to fleas and dust.
My cat is eating Royal Canin Ultamino to rule out a food allergy but has also been prescribed allergy pills. It is near impossible to get him to take them no matter what method I try. I've truly tried everything I can, even a pet piller, he will NOT swallow them and I end up covered in scratches. I've heard putting some butter on the pills helps cats swallow them a little easier. Will that interfere with his prescription diet? I'm at a loss at this point.
Do you know anything about Pet Lab Co. Itch relief chews? Koa has allergies and takes Apoquel, I know it's not good for long term use so I would like to find another solution. Thank you
The vet suggested Children's Zyrtec. I did that for awhile but he hated it & I hated to force him to take it. He did stop itching & I quit giving it to him. A few months later he started again. I was giving him Allergy vitamin chews & that didn't seem to work. So I stopped all supplements & started back on the Zyrtec. They eat Merrick Grain Free food. I switched to washing all their blankets in Free detergent. I have Burt's Bees hotshot spray; nothing seems to help. Could it be the house dust?
my 10 year old cat as a known flea allergy. it's summer here in New Zealand. I dosed her just before christmas - went away - came back to highly stressed cat - crawling with fleas. vet I took her to said she now has a food allergy as well - to beef and fish. he wants to sell me very expensive food. contacted her normal food company (Purina) - who said, all Friskies range contains beef (and/or fish) but some of their One range - only contains beef FAT - no proteins - no allergic reaction
I believe my cat is having Allergies. After we moved from our home town she started having coughing fits occasionally. It's not enough to harm her I don't believe. Another cat of mine, who came from the same home town, has this issue as well. We took him to the vet for a possible UTI and the vet said it was apparently allergy induced because his bladder was not full and appeared to be fine. (I assume he was stressed out). Is there any way I can help my cat ease her allergies at home?
