Sprinkle powder over food or mix well with cold water. Use 1 scoop (1 tbsp) for every 25 lbs. of body weight (example: a 40 lbs. dog would receive 2 scoops). If using with water, mix 1 tbsp of water for each 1 tbsp of powder. Shake well before using. Use as needed.

What is best to help with dog constipation? I've heard pumpkins helps does it really? If so how much do I give him?
Is it a good idea to give my dog a pumpkin digestive supplement by fruitables? She has to have her anal glands expressed regularly so I thought this might help. It says to replace 10% of her food with the pumpkin supplement. She is eating 3/4 of a cup total per day. How much of the pumpkin supplement would I give daily?
I have a female spaded Rottweiler Hound mix 87 pound dog 2 years old. she has difficulty with her anal glands and expresses them by licking herself. I have started to include organic pumpkin mixed in with her dry food. (Approx. 1/4 cup of pumpkin each morning) I do not give it to her with her evening meal. Can I add psyllium to the pumpkin in the morning? One capsule? She has access to plenty of fresh water and we hike daily at least once a day usually twice a day to give her lots of exercise.
I gave my dog firm up pumpkin powder on her food dry on Monday, 7/23. She has been coughing ever since. It is a dry honking cough. I think she may have inhaled the powder. I have been giving her Robitisum Dm and honey. She seemed to do a little better last night but is coughing a lot this morning. Should I take her to the vet?

Good afternoon, how long does it usually take for pumpkin to work for a constapated dog?
How can I harden my dog’s stool? I feed my dog Kirkland signature dog food and have been feeding her for 5 days nutrivet digestive supplement canned pumpkin. I add it to her food about one tablespoon with a cup of dog food. Her poop seems to be getting kinda soggy and is soft. Do I keep on feeding and maybe it will harden? Or what other foods might help with her stool?
My dog is having very liquidy yellow poop. Will pumpkin help to make the stool more firm?
I am trying to go the natural route with muffin. She eats her poop. I have tried putting pumpkin in her foid, pineapple and now using zucchini. Both my cats are on nature variety salomn instinct wet and tsp of firm up pumpkin powder. My female cat had anal gland issues in the past but has been issue free for about two years. But my male cat had diaherra in the past and now suffers from occasional constipation. He had a BM two days ago and ate his full meal last night but he is disinterested in eating his morning meal today which is odd and I found no BM this morning.
