Hi, I am wondering if anyone has noticed a problem with their cat digesting these? I want to know they are actually digestible and they don't cause blockages like some chew toys/treats can.

  1. Hi, These are safe and digestible for cats!

I just a package of these because my cats are going on 12 years old next month and the vet said they have tartar buildup, and one cat has some periodontal issues. Teeth brushing is tough, so I got these. So far, they are just batting & licking them (?)

    Where are these made?

    1. Hi carols3, These are made in the USA. Thanks,

it is said that cats cannot chew as their lower jaw only goes up and down and not sideways so would these chews not be bad for them

    1. It is not good to give cats super chewy treats as it tends to get stuck in their teeth. Stick with treats like temptations and their consistency. Greenies has treats for different issues and blue buffalo has great real meat treats that stink to high heaven, but my cats love them. Cost about 2.99 a pouch

    Styrofoam-eating cat won't touch these

I bought these for my cat who loves to chew, but after sniffing them and rubbing her face on them she didn't really want anything to do with them. I decided to give these to a friend's cat who will eat basically anything (yes, including styrofoam). She wouldn't chew or eat them either. Good idea in theory, but unfortunately not in practice.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My cat is a chewer, and he loves these treats. As a kitten they were too hard for him, but as he has gotten older he has had no problem eating them. He likes to bat the sticks around a bit before going in for the killing chew. If your cat likes to chew on things, I definitely recommend these treats.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Choking Hazard

My cat enjoyed the flavor of these and chewed on them with great vigor, but because of the design I was fearful he would choke if I left him to chew these unsupervised. On the second stick while I was present that exact thing happened, my cat began choking on a piece he had chew. off. I was able to help him and he coughed up the piece, but if I had not known how to address a choking hazard I don’t know if my cat would have been alright. Be EXTREMELY cautious if you allow your cats to chew these.
