Hi, I find myself having to vaccum the entire appartment twice a day because of my cat's litter spreading everywhere as soon as she does her business and exits the litter box. Hi! My kitten is 8 months old, we’ve had him for 6 months, adopted from a shelter. He was litter box trained when he arrived and we haven’t had any accidents until now. He has peed off the side of the box twice and is now pooping near but not inside the box. This has never been an issue. I’ve ordered a larger litter box as I’ve read that could be the issue. I’m also using the same brand of litter with a different scent, which could maybe also be the issue. I can’t tell if he’s stressed or not!
Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
