One of my cats, not sure which, is having loose, large, shiny stools. The litter box stinks horribly. This cat has now started pooping outside the box in the same room as the litter box. I have two cats, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? I have been trying oko cat dust free paper for my asthmatic cat and it is good on not having dust but the litter itself has a natural odor to it to me like burning wood, is this harmful for my cats to smell. I have tried yestersdays new in the past and found it bad on covering ammonia. Oko cat covers ammonia but that burnong wood smells is overwhelming to me so isnt to them....so I switch back to yesterdays new???? Any ideas
I have adopted 6 stray cats and they have been with me for the last 1 year. They have well settled in. One of them, I don't know who has been pissing outside the litter box( not around the house or anywhere) urine is always found under the litter box. They are all 2 years old, spayed and litter trained. Is the litter box small for them? 3 male, 3 female. Litter box is fine. Urine is under the litter box. Attaching pics.
I have 10 cats all ranging from 1-5 years of age. I have been feeding them wet/dry mix food. They are eating Purina one Urinary tract health in both wet and dry food.
