Place the litter box in a quiet, accessible area. Fill with 2-3 inches of your preferred litter. Scoop daily using the included litter scoop. Wash with mild soap and water as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals. If transitioning from a covered litter box, allow your cat time to adjust to the open design.

Hi! My kitten is 8 months old, we’ve had him for 6 months, adopted from a shelter. He was litter box trained when he arrived and we haven’t had any accidents until now. He has peed off the side of the box twice and is now pooping near but not inside the box. This has never been an issue. I’ve ordered a larger litter box as I’ve read that could be the issue. I’m also using the same brand of litter with a different scent, which could maybe also be the issue. I can’t tell if he’s stressed or not!
