Merrick Purrfect Bistro cat food provides a quality, 100% nutritionally complete and balanced diet. Please have clean, fresh water available at all times. Serve at room temperature. We understand that every cat is different and that optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, activity level and environment. 5.5 oz. can : When fed alone to adults, feed 1 can per 4 lbs. of body weight per day, for kittens up to twice this amount and for pregnant or lactating mothers up to three times this amount. For combination feeding, reduce 1/4 cup dry for every 1/2 can wet.

Why doesn't it show the amount of protein in this food? I need to know this of every can I buy, but this brand Merrick Purrfect Bistro Beef Pate does not say what the Crude Protein is. Can you list it?
- Wish I had an answer for you. My cat used to LOVE this flavor, and then something happened they changed what they put in it, and he refused to eat it. I also found a blue piece of plastic in the cat food once. That was the last time I purchased it. Quality went down hill. My cat now will ONLY eat the Turkey flavor, out of all the varieties.

I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!

What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
