Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
I am considering transitioning my puppy from hills science to merrick grain free dry dog food. Is merrick a good brand? What are the benefits of grain free dry dog food? What are the differences in feeding a dog salmon Vs chicken vs lamb vs duck?
I have recently adopted a dog. He is a mixed breed-shepard. At 6 months he weighed 50 pounds and he is currently going on 8 months old. I’ve been feeding him the Merrick grain free puppy beef and sweet potato all breed food. The kibble is small. He is getting 4 cups a day. He’s still skinny and eats it quickly. is there a more suited food for him? And when should I transition him to adult food?
She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
Best dog food for small not active 10/1/2 yr old Chin
We currently feed Rex Merrick brand salmon and sweet potato dry and he has had no problems with it but had read something that Purina had bought Merrick and there is some question about the now quality of the food that they may have changed the ingredients. Do you have any information about the quality decreasing or a reason we should change foods? Or have a brand you recommend as a back up option?

Hi I'm adopting a rat terrier, age 7, 13 lbs....Which dry food is best and no table food allowed? Thanks from Patsy
I have 2 overweight dogs, a 2yr old chihuahua(9lbs) and a 12yr old shih tzu(20lbs). We have always fed them kibbles and bits dry dog food with alpo wet dog food.Last week I went out and bought merrik healthy weight, only feeding them this dry food now. Normally at dinner time they eat all of their food in one sitting. With the new food they don’t eat it until later and do not eat the entire daily recommendation because they do not like the new food.Is this okay or do I need to find food they like
I have a miniature pincher chihuahua mix that is 12 years old. She is only 12 lbs. What would you suggest about the raw nutrition for her.
