My female Pygmy goats are approx 65 lbs. 2.3 ml times 64% = 1.495 ml or round up to 1.5 ml. Then = .05 fl oz. My question is how often do I give them the 1.5 ml?

after orally giving this how long does it take to start working?

    1. Hello, We suggest reaching out to your veterinarian or the manufacturer of this product in regards to this question. Thank you, SCAH

Do you give one dose once or is there a regimen of several days?

    1. The dosage for this item is as follows: Dosage and Administration: Administer Safe-Guard® Dewormer for Goats Orally. The recommended dose of 2.3 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) is achieved when 2.3 ml of the drug are given for each 100 lb body weight. 1. Thank you for inquiring with Santa Cruz Animal Health. This product is dosed by weight so the quantity needed would depend on the weight of your 75 goats. This product does come in a 1 liter and gallon size as well. https://www.scahealth.com/p/safe-guard-dewormer-for-beef-dairy-cattle-and-goats-10-suspension The recommended oral dose of 2.3 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) is achieved when 2.3 ml of the drug are given for each 100 lb body weight. I have a baby goat that needs dewormed I bought the safeguard (fenbendazole) how much do I give and how often  he weighs maybe 5lbs to 7lbs and is approximately 4 months old

    1. Hello! This product is labeled for use in adult goats only. You would have to contact the manufacturer or local veterinarian in regards to giving it to a kid.

How many goats does this bottle de-worm?

    1. Hello! I cannot be sure how long this will last you since the dosage is based on the weight of your goats. If they are all around 100 lbs, then at 2.3 ml per 100 lbs of body weight, this would worm 54 goats per bottle if you are only giving one dose.
