Impossible To Assemble Correctly!

HeidiHiker

I was dismayed to see how much assembling was required for this bed...much more than a previous dog cot I had that I am trying to replace. I borrowed the requisite rubber mallet from a neighbor and set to work with determination to put it together. The instructions were all diagrams, no description to help with the not so clear diagrams. I put it together, after about an hour, then realized the middle joint was not secure, and I could not pull the bed taught. I disassembled the thing in disgust, put it back in the container, and returned it. I am not a handy person in the least, but this was ridiculous. It's only for the handy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It actually holds my 175 lb Saint Bernard ..it took awhile and lots of money to find one that would. And I needed 3 so the price was good too.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Fell apart after less than 1 month!

I bought 2 offer 48" gray ones about 2 months ago, within 1 week my pups chewed on the middles fabric, then to make matters worse.... the other night one completely broke in the middle now my dogs legs is hurt and hes limping. The velcro completely gave out while he was on in apparently. Says for use on dogs up to 150lbs, my pups are between 112-125lbs?! No I would never recommend. Overpriced garbage. I sent the company an email asking if they had replacement covers I could buy.....never heard back.

No, I do not recommend this product.

First Cot Purchase

McFee

Bought this cot for my 11 year old ‘puppy’ — he took to it immediately, enjoys lying on it. I had to put a soft pet bed on top since there isn’t much cushion & was a bit concerned about small openings at seams where his paw could potentially get caught. Overall, I am pretty happy with the product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Didn't last

RangerA

I bought this last summer for my senior dog, thinking it would be easier on his joints and also keep him cooler when he was resting on the back porch. It took some muscle, but I was able to put it together as directed without any tools. He didn't use it a lot, but I was pleased to see him on it occasionally, when it was particularly hot or cold outside. But yesterday the plastic piece that connects the side edge to the middle support leg sheared off. So after about 9 months of very light use, it is broken and unfixable. I expected it to last longer.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nautica Loves It!

Nauti'sHuman

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog Nautica loves her the Lucky Dog elevated cot. The cot was easy to assemble, its sturdy and durable. I haven't taken it camping yet, but my Nautica relaxes on this instead of the floor, and she's picky, so from her actions I can say it's also comfortable.

Fit for My Dog but Not Fit for My House

Leahpet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dog bed for my dog a while ago.He likes it,as long as you put enough padding on it,so he can be comfortable. However,my husband does not,as my house is kind of small, and the only part of the house where he lies down, most of the time, takes up too much room by the backdoor, thus making it hard to open it.I still plan on holding on to it,though, hoping one day, that I will find the perfect place for it in my home for him. Please excuse the pic.He doesn't always photograph well.LOL

Great bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is very happy to have another bed, i like that it’s raised off the ground because it keeps him from picking up dirt from the ground and it keeps him from spiders and such. i haven’t tried putting it in his cage yet.
