Levetiracetam, also known as Keppra, is an anti-seizure medication utilized by veterinarians to treat animals suffering from refractory seizure disorders. Levetiracetam is often used with phenobarbital when phenobarbital alone does not provide adequate benefits. These are Levetiracetam Immediate Release tablets.

Is there anything cheaper than potassium bromide? My 15 month Papillon is on that and Keppra. Non of which seems to be working as she has cluster seizures every day. Keppra 125 mg x2 and 0.4ml bromide. The bromide costs £131 for four weeks! The bottle holds 250 ml so most of it has to be thrown away. She was on epiphen but has had to come off it because of her liver.
A vet that specializes in neurology provided me with Gabapentin 50 mg tabs to give my cat twice a day. There are no numbers on them, just white round scored tablets. Evertthing I google says lowest dose is 100 mg. Concerned I may have been given the wrong medication.
Pet ingested 250 mg Keppra pill. Labrador 35-40lbs, it was not his medication.
Hi my dog is on Levetiracetam 1 1/5 250mg tablet daily plus Epilease 1 1/5 tablet daily and since Friday night he started Epirepress 60mg 1 a day ( morning half tablet and half at night ) but since starting the new tablet Epirepress he has become very unstable on his back legs , falling a lot while trying to walk around. My cat is taking Levetiracetum XR every twelve hours (twice a day) as per the prescription as an anti seizure medication. We give her the medicine around 5:30. today we lost track of time and she didn’t get it until 6:15. Should we be concerned about seizures occurring due to getting her medicine late? And is it safe to give her her morning dose at 5:30 am as scheduled?
hello, my dog has epilepsy and takes 500mg Kappra 3 times daily. he was accidentally given a double dose, what should i do? do i still give him his next dose later and just keep an eye on him? he's 55 pounds.
Can u guide me for what piracetam tablet are used?
5.5 kgs(12 pounds) neutered male 8 years old tabby cat.(was neutered at 7 months old). He has an epileptic seizure every 8 hours. We have the footage of the seizure and can send it if requested. Veterinarian suggested Tegretol (includes Carbamazepine), and said we should give him 0.1 mililiters orally and also said even 1 dose can be lethal. What do you suggest?
Which tablet is good for dog fungal infection
My dog takes 750mg Keppra and 400mg zonisamide twice a day. Tonight she got her pills twice by accident 90 minutes apart. She seems fine but is this serious?
I accidentally gave my dog 3 keppra pills instead of 2. He is 90 lbs. the pills are 500mg each. Should I induce vomiting or go to Er vet??
