I bought the first fox toy when my yorkie was a puppy. She loved it immediately. She always will readjust her grip so that she’s holding it by the back of the head with its tail hanging down, as if it is her pup. Her brother basenji/chihuahua has destroyed two in the past because he will sit and gnaw until the squeaker is no more, but we continue to replace because our little yorkie adores it. About to buy another one today.

Here’s Pearl playing with a Leaps & Bounds Wildlife Fox Dog Toy. I received these product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. She loves this toy since the first time we gave it to her. Toy is really soft, made from recycled material, which we appreciate and support, and has a squeaker. She has been playing daily for several weeks with this fox toy and has hold many tugs, shakes and bites. Pearl usually does not go for the squeaker toy inside. She has not try to get it or remove it, so the toy does not have any tear yet nor has wear off so far. The fox toy still in excellent shape.

This is a stuffing free toy with squeakers in it. My dog loves it he loves to hear the squeakers and he shakes the toy back and forth and throws it around. This toy is a good stuffing free toy for any dog.

My pup loves this toy, she is still playing with it after a month. She was able to remove the stuffing and squeaker pretty quickly, but the outside has held up well and still looks cute. I would definitely get more once this one wears out!

I was excited to let my 65 lb lab try this toy. He loves to play with the outside of stuffed toys, even when the stuffing is long gone. When I initially gave it to him he wasn't quite sure what to do with such a flat toy, but it has squeakers located on both ends, so he was more than happy to run around and squeak them. Eventually he sat down to a gnaw on the ends, and had the squeakers out of both ends in less than half an hour. Strong positive: no stuffing mess to clean! At least the toy is basically exactly the same flat toy but now its quiet. He won't play with it as much anymore now, but he still will occasionally. Overall I'd by this product on sale again but not at full price.

The product is very cute, but it was not the right toy for my dog. She is a Shiba Inu, so she has a strong bite. She tore through the toy in less than 5 minutes. I would only recommend this product for dogs that do not have a strong bite.

This is one of my dog’s all-time favorite toys. He is currently 4, but has loved this fox we lovingly call Foxy Cleopatra since he was a puppy. As a puppy (and until he was a year old) he brought this fox everywhere with him. Over the years we have purchased many of these foxes after they have become mutilated beyond repair. Interestingly enough, despite there being other animal options to choose from with the exact same features, he seems to prefer the fox for some reason. There are squeakers on each end, and there is no stuffing so this is a no-mess toy when it gets destroyed. The really cool thing is the Velcro portion that opens up the body cavity so you can put things like a small plastic bottle or plastic wrap that crinkles for a change in texture to change it up from time to time. This fox has and will always be a toy staple for my dog.
