The small stretchy string on the end of the fish toy broke very quickly, I would not recommend this for a cat because their kicking would tear the toy apart too quickly. Very cute but just doesn’t hold up.

My cats are both pretty enthusiastic about catnip mice toys, so I expected them to be really excited about this toy. They liked playing with it with me well enough; if I was waving it in front of them or placed it next to them they'd pounce at it, but they haven't engaged in much solo play with the squid. The toy itself is made of good durable materials and can definitely take a good bit of batting and chewing without sustaining damage. This is definitely a good toy for pet parents who like interactive playtime with their cats; slingshot launching the squid across the room never fails to engage, but your cats might stick to mice, crinkle toys, or balls if they're playing on their own.

I received this product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Smaller than expected. Material is felt, not sure how long it’s going to hold up. Neither of my cats seem interested. Would not recommended

Cat loved it as soon as he saw it! He carries it around, and I think he likes how lightweight it is. Seems to be made of felt and elastic string. I do wish the elastic loop was thicker as it is already dtarti g to fray/tear from being flung around.

I like the bright colors of this toy and the fact that it has a loop that can easily be placed over your finger, or used in a fishing rod type wand for more exciting play. The fact that it is filled with catnip was another plus as both my cats enjoy it. That said, I tried dangling this toy, casting it from my fishing rod, tossing it in front of my cat’s nose, and spraying it with concentrated catnip spray. He just wasn’t that into it. I wouldn’t say it’s the product’s fault, but it just doesn’t work for my cat sadly. I will donate this to the shelter because I am sure another kitty would enjoy it.

A quick favorite to our cats! Something about that little rope on the top is making them go crazy where they carry it around the house and throw it around. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new toy for your cats to interact with.

The Leaps &Bounds Finger Style Squid Cat Toy is very cute. One of my cats love the toy but the other cat is not interested in it as much. The color is a bright orange so it is very easy for me to find after Raven takes it throught the house hiding it under furniture.

My kitten seems to love tossing this in the air which is good because I can't get it to fling very much. I don't know if I'm just bad at getting a handle at it or if it's too small to get a good grip on.
