Sometimes we don’t realize when the quick in a dog or cats nail has grown up or we can’t see it. In the event of an emergency and you accidentally cut it and your animal starts to bleed, there’s no worse feeling right? Panic sets in and u just wanna make it stop so your beloved fur baby can be all better. Well this product stops the bleeding so fast it’s amazing! My dog Casper has had it used on him and it was so quick svs easy to use and didn’t cause any pain or anxiety in my dog. It was quick because these are swabs and much easier to use than other styptic powders I’ve used and way less messy! There’s no strong bad scent at all either. In literally no time my Casper was running around and playing. Highly recommend because bleeding could get very bad and dangerous from nail cutting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this product to my sister because she lives in California and hikes a lot with her dogs and she says she likes to keep it with during hikes for occasional cuts her dogs get on the hikes. We agree that the ingredients are exceptional and provide the necessary relief for small minor wounds, we also like that dogs aren’t affected by the scent which is actually soothing.

The gel came out dry when I bought it that same day

It says you bend it and the stick part will break off and you use that to apply the medication. It didn’t break off and wasn’t going to. I had to cut it open and then the stick couldn’t come out to apply the meds. It was a mess and didn’t work at all. Also my dog screamed in pain when I applied it to her cut.
