My cats absolutely love this toy. My only regret is that I only bought one. Ordering a second one so they each have one.

We had one of these hedgehog toys for years that none of our cats gave a second glance. Then, we found ourselves with two 5-week-old kittens, a brother and a sister. (There were two other kittens in this litter, but my mom got them, and my stepdaughter was able to trap Mama Cat after a couple of months and get her fixed. Yay!) Anyway, Jasper, my male kitten, discovered this toy and fell in love with it! He suckles on the fur, and nothing else will do. We’ve tried. About 3 weeks ago, the hedgehog goes missing. We look everywhere for it (I even got a clean living room from having to move all the furniture to look under it!). I suspect Charlie (a male cat who enjoys playing fetch with certain toys) may have absconded with it. There is a small chance it was one of the other four cats, including Jasper, but all I really know is that the hedgehog was put to bed in his normal spot one night, and he was missing the next morning. I began searching online for every iteration of “hedgehog cat toy” that I could come up with, to no avail. Kept looking, but could never find what I was looking for. Finally, my husband searches for it and found it! Yay! I only have three issues (and would have only given 3 stars) with my experience in purchasing these hedgehogs online at Petco.com: 1. $7 for shipping when these toys weigh nothing is a rip-off. Plus, each toy is $7. Not happy about that shipping price. 2. Taking a week after ordering to receive these hedgehogs. It should not take more than 2-3 days. 3. These hedgehog toys are not available in any store in about a 50-mile radius from my house. All of that said, the sheer joy on my Jasper’s little face when he got the replacement hedgehog is why I still give 5 stars for this product. That thankfulness of getting his “wooby” back is why I only complained a little about the lack of local availability, the cost of shipping, and the length of time we had to wait to get the new ones. All worth it to see his contentment while he suckles away in my arms.

My cat absolutely loves this thing. He plays with it daily and loves to launch it into the air. Obviously every cat is different but if you have a cat that enjoys catnip, I recommend giving this a try!

My cats play with and sleep with their toys. I love the fact that these toys don't have filling.

Little difficult to fill and keep catnip out of velcro. Make sure to push catnip deep into nose then body.
