Highly Concentrated, Professional Use Only. Mix 50 parts warm water to 1-part shampoo (1/3 cup or 3 oz. shampoo) to 1 gallon of water. Apply to wet coat. Work up lather. Allow to set 5 min. For extremely dirty coats add pure, undiluted shampoo into lather and work into the coat. Allow to set for 5 minutes. Rinse and repeat. Store undiluted shampoo in a cool dry place.

My 10 yr old Shih Tzu has a skin condition (like myself - scalp) and I have a prescription for ketoconazole shampoo. I took it to his groomer to use on his last visit to see if it would help (I think it did), problem is - so much more has to be used on him than for me. My question is - is there a less expensive alternative for a dog. He gets these skin ulcers and 2 have ruptured - others have just dried up and leave a scaly film. Not sure what to do to help him.
