Upset the DIY nutrient pack is discontinued!!!

Heide R.

I have been making the Lamb and Brown Rice recipe for quite some time, varying it with your other recipes. My 2 dogs love it and have never had a problem with it. I have the meat grinder attachment to my KitchenAid so grind the lamb myself. I have never seen lamb liver in stores so substituted beef liver, no problem. Easy as the others to make. I am upset you discontinued the nutrient pack and supposedly cannot substitute any other packs.

Hello, Heide Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Although our DIY Lamb is being discontinued, you can still find this meal in our Fresh Frozen or PantryFresh presentations as an alternative. Our DIY Lamb and DIY Venison are no longer in stock online, and they will not be coming back. You can check with Amazon, Chewy, and Petco to see if they have them in stock, but these items are discontinued. Please feel free to contact us via email or phone at (866) 726-9509 if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Sincerely, Alessandra

DIY Kits: A Lifesaver!

My pet Philly is a picky eater. I searched high and low for something that he would eat. I tried Just Food For Dogs wonderful products. He liked them but not enough to keep him interested. Then I realized that I had to make it myself. I purchased the DIY Lamb and RIt! Kit and he loved it. I must say that there aren't any food products in the kit just the vitamin powder and the recipe. It's an adjustment but each time I make it I learn new ways to make the process easier. The reward is I know I am giving Philly a well balanced meal and he eats it every time I serve it to him. He loves it!

I recently started cooking my dogs food, and realized how difficult it can be to get them the nutrients they need! She loves her food, and the process is simple, however I don’t see improvement in her skin just yet!

JFFD Lamb DIY

I usually get the DIY Chicken & White Rice mix, but I decided to get this one also when I last ordered. My dogs really enjoy this recipe and it will definitely stay part of my rotation now! I have also used the Turkey & Whole Wheat Macaroni recipe, but I unfortunately have one dog who is allergic (confirmed through food trials) to wheat (also fish) so I can't use it for him. I love how easy the recipes are to follow and my dogs do very well on these foods. They are more energetic and their digestion is better. JFFD is simply the best!

My picky pups love this.

I have a Miniature Border Collie and a Pomski. Both are very picky eaters and both are allergic to chicken. Do you know how hard it is to find dog food without chicken , chicken byproducts, chicken broth or chicken meal in it? So I started making my own but was concerned about them not getting enough of their nutrients since they are both High Energy dog. Plus both run Agility . Then I saw an add for Justfoodfordogs. I use the DIY Lamb, Beef, and Fish kits.with the omega 3 oil and my kids clean their bowls. I totally give them 5 stars .

Dogs LOVE it!

I’ve been cooking my dogs food for about a year now using the lamb recipe, our dogs LOVE it! Their coats are shiny, they have a lot of energy now, and they are not happy when they run out of it. The preparation of the veggies is pretty fast if you stick them in the blender, I also put the liver in the blender (separate from the veggies). Only thing I don’t like about making the dog food is the way the liver stinks up the kitchen when it gets cooked, so make sure to have your vent on and open up some windows! Overall it’s a great product and my dogs love it. Yes, I recommend Just For Dogs to others.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I originally bought this for my girl with Kidney Disease. Unfortunately, it was her last meal. I wish I had tried your food sooner. I’m now using this food for my 2yr. Old pup to keep him healthy and happy. Love the d.i.y. Kit!️

Astro had severe GI issues after swallowing a wood chip and his internal medicine doctor told us about Just Food for Dogs as a great food to use after he was off of the prescription medication. He loves it and gives it a 5 :paw_prints: review! I love it as I know he is getting high quality food that is nutritionally balanced to meet all of his needs! Plus it’s super easy for me to make 2x a month for him.
