JustFoodForDogs frozen

This food is frozen yet very fresh. I have a picky eater Chihuahua of course:-) and JustFoodFor Dogs encourages him to finish his meal every time. He’s active and energetic because he’s so well nourished. I buy 7 18oz packets every month lasts almost 6 weeks served twice a day.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My Dogs love it

My dogs love the food and do well on it as long as I keep it at 50% or a bit less to prevent loose stool. My one concern is that the potatoes are a bit undercooked. I can’t split them easily when I apply force with a spoon.

Beef and Russet Potato is hands-down Happy’s favorite meal! Happy gets visibly excited wagging his tail and doing a full-on dinner dance when he sees us pull it out of the fridge. You can see all the human-grade fresh ingredients in every spoonful, so we can’t honestly blame him.

Our labrador puppy is loving the Just Food For Dogs. We are transitioning to a full bowl twice a day. He has so much energy and we are thankful this meets all his nutritional needs.

No more allergy symptoms

After my dog was diagnosed with a storage mite allergy, we could no longer feed dry kibble. Sensitive formula canned food made her constipated and smelled bad. A month after switching to this fresh frozen recipe, her gut issues went away. She used to leave her breakfast unfinished, and now we need a slow eater bowl to slow her down. It’s expensive but worth it to see her enjoying her food and feeling healthy. We will try other recipes when winter ends since this one is higher fat.

My dogs love this food and as a retired Vet Tech, I love the healthy options for them. However, since I have very small dogs, the food does start to get rancid about a week before we are finished with the package. Do you have any suggestions?

  1. I think the package says not to refreeze the food, but I do split it into smaller portions and refreeze. I have a vacuum sealer to make it easier to do.

When will this be restocked? This is the the only food my dog has eaten for the past year. It has now been out of stock for awhile.

I have been a customer for several years and never had a problem with delivery to Agua Dulce. Why have you stopped delivery to this area?

How many cups per day would our 3 yr old German Shepherd get?

JustForDogs--how many calories per oz or pound or cup, My dog needs 300 calories per day

        1. Jim, thanks for checking out our Beef & Russet Potato recipe - it is one of our most popular!  The recipe has 38 calories per ounce, and you can always find more info @ https://www.justfoodfordogs.com/beef-russet-potato.
