My dog doesn’t play with any toys. She sniffs and then leaves them alone. How can I make her enjoy them more and actually want to play instead of sleeping all day?
my 10 month old beagle weighing 25 pounds ate this piece of soft toy and im wandering if it will pass or should i take her to the er vet tonight, im concerned about about obstruction or laceration because of the length of cause it isnt very wide at all. its too late to induce vomitting cause its been a couple hours ago i just got home and found out, any suggestions she is acting ok and eating and playing.
What is the best feeding mechanism to put the dog's meal for 15-30 min then take it or leave it all the day for the dog to eat as she want?
I adopted a very overweight dog. I am working on weight management and she has lost some weight but I'm concerned as she gobbles her food down literally in a minute. I just bought the puzzle bowl but she can only reach one morsel at a time using her tongue as she is a big dog. This doesn't seem right either but I don't know. It definitely slowed her eating. Advice please.

My dog is going to be home alone for about a little under 12 hours what could I do to keep her entertained? My Dog is a year and 5 months old.
My dachshund came in from outside with this, what could it be?
I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
How do I stop my dog from sniffing the carpet all day long, he will not lay down only when in his cage, he walks around a day sniffing the whole carpet.
