Is there a timer for the light that is compatible with this set up? Both the light and filter run to a splitter that goes to one plug. I don't want the filter to be on a timer.

I have the 6.6 gallon tank and I was wondering if I can fit a small trio of fish, a Betta, and like very few shrimp. ( the trio of fish was given to me by someone else so I know they get along ).
- Hi Emlver123, Good day! That is most likely too many fish for that size aquarium and depending on the species of fish they may not be compatible with the betta. Peaceful fish such as tetras, guppies, platies etc… would be fine with a betta. Cichlids or barbs may actually become aggressive towards the betta. It is also not recommended to keep freshwater shrimp with bettas. The betta may try to eat them. Thanks

Can someone please tell me which filter goes where in the filter system. I have a blue mesh filter and then the carbon one. The first time I changed the water it was great, changed the filter and I think I put it in wrong. Help!!

Hey I have a small floor stand that is 25 1/2 inches in Length and 1 ft in width what is the maximum size tank I should put on it?

We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.

So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
