External Care: Use a soft cloth and ammonia-free glass & acrylic cleaner to keep outside of aquarium clean. Replace filter media monthly (if applicable). Internal Care: A monthly water change of 15-20% is recommended. Scrub aquarium wall with appropriate glass or acrylic scrubber to reduce algae growth. Evaporation is common, ensure water level is maintained.

I gave 4/5 stars because the filter is absolutely awful. I had to buy a new filter but the tank is beautiful. The lid design is kind of poor as well. If you’re not carful when taking it off you’ll drop it in the tank.

Bought this tank a month and a half ago, and it I entirely regret it. The filtration system is awful. Water was constantly cloudy, and the filter media was disgusting after hardly a month. This resulted in my fish becoming ill. I have had 5 gallon tanks that were cheaper, and of lesser quality that performed better than this tank. Please be careful, and think before you buy this tank, as you may be risking the health of your fish!

I was excited to move my female beta into this beautiful tank. Unfortunately, there is 1 inch in the back of the tank not covered by the lid and she jumped out while I was at work and died.

Purchased this about 2 months ago for my betta and mystery snail. Overall it’s a beautiful tank and I actually really like it. The only reason I am giving it a 1 star is because the top of the tank, where the lid sits is a very poor design! Because of this my snail was able to escape, fall and crack its shell. My snail is alive, but this has now cost me extra money in gathering the medicine and temporary isolation tank to nurse my snail back to health. In other worse this was preventable and they really need to include a lid that covers the entirety of the tank.

Apparently this tank is so bad my poor betta just wanted out! I wish I never bought this tank! I thought I was giving my fish and upgrade but obviously not! I bought this tank 4 days ago and now I have a dead betta. My betta jumped out of the opening between the lid and back of the tank. I will be returning this asap

Awesome starter tank for someone who left the hobby and is back again- I got this initially to grow some low tech plants, but since the plants were thriving under the light included I added a betta, whose now also thriving! Heater isn’t included, so be sure to grab one on the way out & just buy the replacement filters and sponges same day too if you can, bc the tank will get biofilm quickly since the filter and sponges are small-

This tank is amazing and everything I love in a small tank! I used this to house one of my Beta’s and I can tell she loves it. The sleek all glass with to plastic edges is what I like most about this tank, it gives a super modern look. The filter is also really nice, easy to use and not loud at all. I also enjoy the LED lights which work great to light up the tank! I also like that at night I can switch it to a nice night time blue. Overall I’d say this tank is really awesome and beats all my expectations of a small tank.

This fish tank is amazing! I wish the filter worked a bit better. No matter how many times i change it, it’s still foggy in my tank. other than that, i have no complaints. my fish seems to love her new home.
