My farm pig has an ear infection. I’ve boughten Bactracillin G (penicillin), and I’m wondering if I should use a 20G x 1in. needle for the IM injection.
I had Elsa to the vet for not eatting and drinking. And the vet told me i have to syringe water into her mouth to hydrate her and i was wondering how much water should i give her and how often??
I found a stray cat yesterday that is severely dehydrated. She ate and drank some water but threw it all up. Now it wouldn't eat on its own and I'm force feeding it through a syring. Do you have to give SQ fluids by drip or can you provide by mouth using a syringe, the needle just looks so brutal and I want to make it as painless as possible.
