Testing your aquarium's water is fast and simple with Imagitarium Ammonia Test Strips. A color-coded chart is included to identify changes in ammonia levels. Ammonia can fluctuate due to overfeeding, overcrowding or decomposition of organic matter in your aquarium, resulting in stress, ammonia burn or even death of your aquatic life. To help improve levels, increase the frequency of water changes and vacuum your substrate to remove unwanted waste.Testing water parameters on a regular basis is important to understand the health of the environment.

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out. The internet doesn’t help out to much and the bottle of the test strips doesn’t tell me the ideal amount some of these should be at. So if you could help me out here I would really appreciate it. And please tell me the amount it should be at and if it isn’t ideal how to improve it please and thank you. GH• (General Hardness) 30 KH• (Carbonate Hardness) 40 pH• 7.0/7.5 NO2• 0 NO3• 0 I am testing the tank for a betta if that makes it vary.
I believe my 50 lbs. 1yr. old bulldog has a u.t.i. due to long use of predinisone. Anyway, I just received ph test strips. What range would let me know if it is u.t.i.? The strips ph range are 5.5-8.0, There were no other instructions in the pack.
When testing dog glucose I am short one strip to complete the 12
I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
I just got my fish and she isnt in her tank yet but my water test strips says only my alkalinity is high and that my ph and everything else is good is it safe to put her in the tank or how can we lower it
Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
After using metronidazole 400mg×2 tablets in 75 litre aquarium tank, my two parrot fish has thread like some seeing near gills and genital area ? How to treat them ?
My flowerhorn tanks water has exptremely high nitrate level . I returned from vacation yesterday to find a cloudy tank and high levels nitrate . I did a 50% water change and added prime . He now is gasping for air or at least that’s what it looks like and nitrates are still in the red . I was told to add aquarium salts and wait it out . I’m scared I’ll loose him . What should I do quarantine
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
Hi, We just did the Petnostics test for our dog Stella and below you will find the results. My concern is sometimes the amount of water she consumes. She can easily drink entire bowl quick. Stella - 07/28/2018 Bilirubin - Large (+++) Blood - Negative (0 ca cells/µL) Glucose - Trace (5 mmol/L) Ketone - Small (+) (1.5 mmol/L) Leukocytes - Trace (15 ca cells/µL) Nitrite - Positive (+) pH - 6.0 Protein - Small (+) (0.3 g/L) Specific Gravity - 1.05 Urobilinogen - 0.2 (3.2 µmol/L)
I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.
Is it necessary to test the Ph levels and all the other things for the fish tank water?
