My kitten is 4 months old. She refused to eat any wet food that comes in a can. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. Now I tried Wiskas kitten wet food in plastic containers individual servings and she likes it. What can I do to get her to eat the good quality wet food or the ones she likes are really bad? My question is, how much of the canned wet food should I give him per day? Half a can in the morning and then the other half in the evening? These are 2.9-oz cans. I want to do what's best for him. After cat fight & treated at vet with Covina, rabies, anti inflam shot, my indoor/outdoor cat recovered indoors for 3 weeks. He started going outside again in a limited way. He gained weight. About 2-3 pounds. He is getting a tummy. Pics attached. She eats some, but not enough, & has dropped from her usual 7 1/2 lbs to about 5 1/2 lbs. She licks & licks, but it takes forever for her to get it in. She also seems unable to pick up the dry version because of it's shape & size and her flat face. What can I do to get her to eat enough?
