I don’t know what they put in it, but our dog loves it.

Our vet had prescribed i/d when our dog was having gastric problems and once this was resolved we put him back on the Hills dry food.Later, when he became reluctant to eat we put him back on i/d and what a difference. He was like a puppy again(at 11 years old).We will keep him on it permanently. We have had no problems with quality or consistency.

Vet gave us for our 16 week old lab who was having issues w diarrhea. Said to make small meatballs to administer the medication. (Pills) Worked like a charm. Puppy loved the turkey flavor so we started mixing in w his kibble.

My dog gets it stuck in teeth and nose and is sneezing after each meal for at least 20 minutes...I don't think this is acceptable for her health. The former formula did not do this.

Our 5 month old Pug puppy started teething and as she was having trouble chewing on this i/d prescription food in dry form, due to lack of teeth, our vet suggested this wet kind. We bought a couple cans on-site and gave some to our dog and immediately she was like "oh heck no". This was also the first time she's ever had turkey so I'm not sure if that was it, and OMG the smell of the food made me gag! We then had such a hard time getting her to eat, but knew it was the only way she could eat for a little while. We got so desperate we would add different treats to it and mix it up. That would let her eat a little more, but never all of it. Also, going by the bag directions, you're telling me my 14 lb Pug (she's small and doesn't look like she weighs that) is supposed to eat a total of 2 full whole cans a day?? There's NO way!! Luckily her adult back teeth are good now and we were able to put her back to the dry version.

7 of 12 cans were damaged. One can exploded. I went to Petco and exchanged the 2 cans that were badly mangled. Came home, opened retainder of the ship to find 5 other cans dented and dinged. Thankful Petco was kind enough to replace the two cans I brought in. Hoping to just pick up my prescriptions at the physical store next time around

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Vet provided a couple cans as samples for my 11 year old border collie mix. She refuses to take any medication. I’ve tried everything. She’s too smart for her own good. Vet suggested making a “meatball “ for her pills. She loves this food and medication time is like treat time.
