Questions
Csn this cause gas issues? My kitty has CKD early stages keeps vomiting so vet put him on hills digestive care i/d. I feel like he is getting smelly. But on the positive side no more throwing up and diarrhea.
- I know it is expensive but my cat adjusted to it and now she is thriving. We tried to mix it with regular food and come off of it at one point and she immediately started getting sick again.. I will have her on this until she can't eat any more... I am a believer in it.

Does hills I/d promote weight gain in cats with sensitive stomach issues?
- It did the trick for my cat. She got very thin and mostly slept. In March of 2020 the vet ran hundreds of dollars in tests and determined that she had cancer but couldn't tell exactly what kind. We asked for a prescription so we could continue to give her this food since at least she didn't throw it up. It took a while but this year she has gained weight and is back to boxing the dogs ears. Totally back to normal. I plan to keep her on it.

Bam, male cat, 2yrs. old has been on diet of “sensitive stomach, Hill’s Sci. Diet, to control chronic diarrhea. It worked very well. Now we wish to change over to a less-expensive daily dry food. Bam rejects our new offerings. Is there any other brand you can suggest? 38 dollars for a large bag of Hill’s is a tough go for the rest of Bam’s life, if he could eat cheaper, and still maintain health. Dove has been on prescription food by hills science I’d low fat food because her pancreas can’t handle the fat from what I was told. My 16 yr old Persian cat was recently diagnosed w/kidney disease. Doc prescribed Hill's Kidney Care. I've been trying to give the canned version for the first time ever because of dehydration. She eats some, but not enough, & has dropped from her usual 7 1/2 lbs to about 5 1/2 lbs. She licks & licks, but it takes forever for her to get it in. She also seems unable to pick up the dry version because of it's shape & size and her flat face. What can I do to get her to eat enough?

Best low-carb wet food for cats?
One of our male cats recdently had a blockage and we had to take him to emergency. We got there in the nick of time, he was going into kidney failure! Naturally he now has to be on special prescription food. The Hill's c/d he doesn't like at all. The Royal Canin he tolerates but will hardly eat it. I always try to mix something else in but it's just a chore to get him to eat now and the poor guy is hungry. He does love Royal Canin's dry SO food and treats. What else can I feed him?

My dog a few weeks ago she vomited so I gave her chicken n rice with Prescription Hills K/D she she got better now she wants it every time...now she wont eat without!
