Our 4.4lb Chihuahua loves this brand stew!

This can food saved me from going nuts with my little Chihuahua, who was put on urinary care for a UTI and crystals in his urine to hopefully clear up. First we tried the loaf in the other brand, fortunately I was able to buy just 2 cans of that at our vet's office, and he wouldn't touch it no matter what we did!! Then he wouldn't eat his normal food after that. UGH!! Thank heavens he LOVES this stuff!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have been buying this for years with no issues, but the last batch I received the recipe has changed in some way. There is obviously way less meat and way more broth in the food. At least a 25% difference. Very disappointing. The food was perfect before but I may have to look gor something else.

Thank you for your feedback. It is our goal, that with each purchase of your pet’s food, that you will experience the same high quality and consistency. However, normal variations in product can occur as a result of normal variations in ingredients or processing. During the processing of this product, the chunks and gravy are combined before filling the can. The mixture is continually stirred to ensure an even distribution of chunks and gravy for each can of product. On rare occasion there may be an opportunity for settling of the mixture which causes uneven distribution of the food chunks. While a can of food containing limited chunks meets the weight requirements, it would not meet our high quality expectations. We are certainly disappointed to hear of this report and will be passing this information on to our continuous improvement teams.

This stuff is amazing!

Omg my dog LOVES this food! She literally jumps around in circles when she sees me open the can. Instead of just the boring dry food which she still also loves I mix the 2 to give her some extra flavor and moisture to her diet. Her coat shines and is SO soft after a couple weeks on this food, highly recommend!

My dog was diagnosed with urinary crystals that could lead to bladder stones, and recommended a prescription diet. Although this is canned dog food, I can see the shreds of chicken, the whole peas, the pieces of carrot and the grains of rice clearly. It has obviously not been ultra-processed/

I like the smaller cans so much more than the big ones. My senior dog would only eat about half the big cans so he can eat a whole small can and I don’t have to worry about saving the rest for later. He’s also super picky and he really likes this mixed with his pumpkin powder to help with his stomach. Since he is older, his teeth are hurting and he does not like pate canned food so this is perfect!

Yes, I recommend this product.

How much potassium citrate milligrams are in one can?

Why is the canned Prescription Diet Urinary Care dog food SO dry? You did send me a coupon because of my last complaint but it is for a case and that is too much for me to buy at one time. I just feed my dog a teaspoon daily with her dry food.

    1. if you buy the stewed kind it's not as dry

My dog has been on the CD Chicken Stew with Vegetables for several years. His liver enzymes have been out of range. He also eats the dry CD chicken flavored. Could the canned food cause the liver values to be high?
