Can I feed this to my assassin snail? I saw copper in the ingredients but is it a significant amount? enough to kill it?
- All living creatures require necessary minerals and copper is one of them. As long as you do not overfeed your fish and follow the feeding instructions, there should be no issue with your snails, shrimp or any other little creature in your tank.

Would this be a good food for bumblebee catfish? I know they eat blood worms and bog larva.
- They are kind of big like the size of an algae pellet they can pick at it I would suggest shrimp pellets they are smaller and sink.

Anyone use this for their axolotl? Mine are just babies 3in.
- There are TWO different versions. Tropical Sinking Carnivore Pellets are for LARGE animals. REGULAR Sinking Carnivore Pellets are smaller. Good Luck finding the Regular version. Most Pet Stores only sell the Tropical.

Will this bulk up if Feeding triggers and groupers? I’m trying to get my grouper off of krill and squid. Should I just starve him and keep feeding the pellets?
- Sinking Carnivore is a great live food substitute as the texture once in water is similar to that of live food and the protein level is also higher than most foods. Best of all the nutrient package is scientifically balanced to unlock all the nutrients to be used by your aquatic pet. Excellent choice!

How many pellets should I feed to a rope fish (aka reed fish), that is around 8''?
- We suggest soaking the pellet in some aquarium water for about 5 minutes before feeding and trying one pellet two times per day. If any is not eaten after 2 minutes remove the uneaten amount from the tank and adjust feeding down to match amount eaten.

- Thank you for your question. Because catfish are omnivores and bichir are carnivores, they will eat this food. However, you may want to provide a vegetation-based food for the catfish as well, since they do eat both meat and vegetables. ajl

Could I feed this to my aquatic frog?
- Thank you for your question. The Hikari Sinking Carnivore pellets are fine for larger carnivorous aquarium fish so depending on the size of your frog these might be too big of a pellet. We would recommend the Tetra Fauna ReptoMin Frog Granules; item# 73546 as these are made for aquatic frogs. How many would be good to feed 2 Albino Cory Cathfish?
- I would feed them 6 carnivores pellets especially if that’s all your fish? I have 10 large cichlids and 2 large bottom feeders, loach and synditonites catfish ( spelling??) I feed mine 30-35 pellets a day and they devour them, also its obviously tasty??

My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.

I have a male beta fish that will not eat (or at least I haven’t seen him eat). I got him 5 days ago. He’s in a 1 gallon bowl. I got him the recommended beta pellets but he can’t seem to get them to stay down. He gets excited when I feed him but when he goes for the pellet, he holds it in between his lips then spits it out. The pellets end up sinking after a while and that’s when he grazes the bottom. I think that’s how he’s getting his food but i’m not 100% sure. How can I get him to eat?
