Is the rubber ring on the bottom of this dish removable? Would like to be able to put it in the dishwasher, but if the ring doesn't come off I can't do that.

What is the best dog bowl material that is non toxic, going to stay clean, not get a film at the bottom and not harbor bacteria?
My cat has been spilling and turning and kicking her water bowl for a few days now, mind you, the water is fresh, the bowl clean and the one she had since she arrived in our family. What can I do to stop it?
My cat is about nine months old. She loves to dip her paws in her water bowl, she also likes to dump it over. I have tried all sorts of bowls even suction cup bowls. In the end she always find out how to dump it. Why does she do this, how can I prevent it?
