I love to give my 2 indoor and 2 outdoor feral cats a choice. I give each one a dry food mix with 5 little treats. A beef or chicken pate food and their Halo white fish. And they always start with the whitefish. It’s the flavor that they love and it’s good for them too.

Packaging Problems...

Cans were all dented because a 28lb of litter 1case and 12 cans loose cans of food and a 6lb bag of hard food were all stuffed in one back that were bursting at the seem taped all around the box and smell like wet food had leaked. Never mind the weigh of the box. Terrible to think someone though this was a good idea. On auto delivery, will cancel it this happens again. Train your staff please.

10 year old cat loves it. This brand has more broth than others I've gotten, it's still a pate but softer. He has had some teeth removed and has a sensitive stomach. This food is worth the price for something that he seems to enjoy eating, and no stomach problems with it.

Ever since we switch to Halo Grain Free, our 15 year old cat is healthier and happier! In the last couple of years, we've been noticing an overall decline in his health and mood. We thought he was just getting old and grumpy. But now, with Halo, his appetite is back, his coat is shinier, and he is back to his old friendly and loving self again. What you feed your cat is so important and Halo seems to have the right formula with high quality whole meats and vegetables. We try to give him a variety of foods and so far he loves the Whitefish Recipe, the Turkey & Duck, the Salmon Pate, the Seafood Medley, and the Chicken Pate. He's on the fence with the Turkey & Quail, and he did not care for the regular Chicken Recipe which has the chunky bits of vegetables in it nor the Chicken & Trout Recipe. Just like humans, our cat has his own personal tastes, but I love the fact that Halo has many thoughtful recipes to accommodate different health concerns and life stages. Do your homework, but I would give Halo Grain Free a try. Your cat may just fall in love with it and get his bounce back!

any without carrageenan?

    Food-grade Carrageenan is a common food additive extracted from a red seaweed. It is used as a natural thickener and emulsifier improving the appearance and texture of our pâtés. We keep it in levels below 0.2%. We do offer diets without carrageenan; those would be our stews. They have a different texture but are just as nutritious.
