To use the lock connector: Turn the outside ring to lock trails on place. Turn again to disconnect or reposition trail. Some hamsters have a tendency to chew on their cage/accessories if they are not provided with other alternatives (ex. Chew toy). Check your pet's home regularly. Good for syrian hamster, could be connected better

It is the only product for tubes I found that fits a syrian hamster, so that’s where the 4 star comes from. I took a star away because the connections aren’t easy to secure and they fall apart pretty easily so it was hard to connect them and put them where I wanted without them falling apart a ton of times.

They are great, the size is perfect for my dwarf, I wanted him to be able to turn around freely in them, I don't like the 2 inch sized tubes, this tube is 2 inch in diameter at the openings, but it's 2.5 inches in the middle where it bubbles open. The only thing I don't like is how the tubes come apart in half, I will have to put clear tape on it. It could be an escape hazard!

Perfect for Syrian hamsters

Habitrail OVO tubes are what you need to get for syrians, as they do not fit in others and run the risk of getting stuck. I love these tubes and so do my syrian hamsters! Unless you're just laying it flat on the bedding, they're too big for dwarf hamsters, they'll have trouble walking up them and would slide down if angled.

This Habitrail Ova straight tunnel piece has a nice green tint. I use them in my aquarium as well as my Hamster system. The extra hole can be used for a branch tunnel, a spot for the Kay-tee night lite, or a window plug for a port hole appearance. I use the Ovo Curve pieces for climbs and the straight pieces for horizontal bridges. It is the right size 1⅞" (almost 2") inside diameter for medium to small hamster/mice. Almost 10" long

I really like the habitrail tubes because they are much bigger for my Syrian hamster. But the product arrived to me pretty dirty. The tubes are more expensive, but worth the investment.

These cost more than the others, but they are very sturdy and they snap/lock together very securely. I was worried that they wouldn't attach to the others that I have, but they do just fine!
