I bought this a month ago and no matter how much I change the water or let it soak, it turns the water a nasty brown in an hour. I even soaked it in clean water twice for hours before putting it in my tank. It's awful. It says it's good for fish tanks or terrariums but I would keep this far away from your fish tanks!

Would be a nice piece if I intended to buy a small piece of driftwood, but I was expecting 3 pounds. Mine is 9 ounces.

    Absolutely horrible.

    What did you sell me

The driftwood looks like complete crap. It is hard as steel and not soft like real driftwood. The picture showed beautiful bright pieces of driftwood. What i received was two small dark pieces of pooh. It looks like it is from a bad cloned humans back yard like my bad cloned neighbor, sven and his friends. No beauty or personality to my tank what so ever, so to speak. Horrible. Nothing matches what petco has to offer. It is all crap with toxins from china.

Mine is still floating. I have to tie it to a string and a suction cup just to stop it from floating around. It royally sucks

After boiling (to make sure it was safe for my aquarium) it sank readily and is beautiful to look at. It -is- relatively soft but that is to be expected. Has wonderful nooks and crannies to wedge plants into and for critters to swim through.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
