Hello, I've had my veiled chameleon for 5 months. He is in a tall cage, about 4 feet and the highest branch is around 7 inches away from his heating light. He's currently shedding and has been rubbing up against branches and his spikes on his back are coming off, it's just a few of them but Its still alarming. They're are little drops of blood that are on the surface of his spikes. What can I do? Should I bring him to the vet? I called petco and they said use an antibiotic.
my 15 year old dog as started chewing wood
My 1.5 year old Panther Cham has been growing these ugly bumps/horns for about four months now. He's housed in a shelter with misted distilled water and fed crickets regularly. I've seen some online forums that suggest reptile papaloma, but he's never had contact with any other chameleons.
What kind of plants do you recommend for the American bullfrog
I have a cherry plum tree in my new goat in closure, is that safe?
My tortoise has what appears to be fluids (red so probably blood) in between carapace and plastron. Closest thing I could find online to what it looks like was someone posting about their tortoise falling of a hide log and sustaining trauma, but my enclosure doesn't have anything to fall off of. It doesn't look like shell rot that I've seen before. About 2 weeks prior it started rubbing it's head on it's legs and it's skin seemed dry so I feed it more romain lettuce and soaked it a bit more.
My Rabbit has a firm black nail like structure on hoe back, feels attatched to the skin, almost feels like a little twig
