The Firemouth Cichlid is a colorful and resilient freshwater fish, easily recognized by its bright red throat and belly-especially vivid during displays of dominance or courtship. Native to Central America, it's favored for its striking looks, semi-aggressive nature, and moderate care level, making it suitable for a wide range of aquarists. Reaching up to 6 inches, Firemouths do best in aquariums of at least 55 gallons, with sandy or fine gravel substrates, open swimming space, and ample hiding spots. While typically peaceful, males can become territorial during breeding, so compatible tankmates should be similarly sized, semi-aggressive fish. Feeding a varied diet of high-quality pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live treats helps support their health and coloration. With their fiery display and engaging behavior, Firemouth Cichlids add both energy and visual appeal to community or cichlid-centered tanks.

Also the color of the fish is bit dull as compared to other one.
