What is the difference between the multi-cat, enhanced and classic diffusers?
- I do not have a scientific background/understanding of the line of Flyway products, but I can share my own experiences to see if will help. We integrated two young male cats with our one remaining elderly female cats and there was a lot of angst and displeasure from the existing cat. We deployed six diffusers with the "Optimum" (classic) type, but that didn't seem to make a difference. After reading the descriptions better, it seemed the "Multi-Cat" type would better fit what was going on in our feline household. Multi-cat worked much better, and after two years, we're down to just one diffuser, strategically placed where they are likely to all three hang out the most. My uneducated guess is that if the problem is unique to one cat, i.e. if the kitty has underlying anxiety issues, then Optimum might be the best fit. If it's a matter of two more more cats fighting or messing with each other, then the Multi-Cat might be a better solution. I hope this helps!

What does the room smell like while using this diffuser. I have bought some collars that contain the same ingredient and they smell awful.
- Musky is the wrong word but comes closest… I didn’t smell it in the rest of the room where it was plugged in but just in the area near the plug.

Is it safe to use 3 diffusers in a 1400 sq foot house if the rooms are really separate from each other? And can I use the multicat refills if I bought a single cat diffuser? I recently added 4 cats when a friend passed away.
- Feliway website says that Classic diffuser requires Classic refills, Multicat diffuser requires Multicat refills.

How many Feliway plugins do I need for 1500 sq. ft?
- Hello – Since you have 1,500 square feet to cover, we would recommend two FELIWAY diffusers since each diffuser will cover 750 square feet. Make sure to plug the diffusers in different outlets to reach the maximum amount of space in your home. You cannot overdose your cat on pheromones. When you are deciding where to plug the diffusers in, make sure it is a location where you cat likes to be and not in a hallway, under furniture or behind a door. Thank you.

How to use pheromones to get cats to get along? If I get the plug ins how many for a 3 bedroom home? If I get the spray do I just spray the room? Would calming treats help my cats get along?
Trixie is my indoor cat but I have an outoor cat that has recently come into the picture and my vet believes he is the reason for trixies off behavior and lack of appetite. Trixie has been examined and had bloodwork and nothing irregular found medically. My vet suggested feliway spray but in shopping for the classic spray I see it’s for travel situations and there is feliway muliti cat diffuser for issues between cats. I prefer the spray over the diffuser but will they have the same results?

Hi, I am having problems with my cats getting along. They have been together for 1.5 years and still mildly fight, the younger male cat (2) stalks the older female cat (4) and it cause her a lot of stress. She growls when he gets too close and hides in the kitchen cupboard. But then there are time where they will both sleep next to each other on the bed and both lay on my lap touching each other. Hello my cats have always gotten along with each other. I have 3 females one male and I also foster cats. They were fine with the foster cats coming and going until recently, my male main coon (3yrs) started attacking one of my female tabby (2years) causing her to spray all over the house. We have tried boar mate spray encase it was sexual agression, calming spray, calming drops in water, and calming pheromone collars. How can we stop the peeing!
Introducing two neutered male cats, been 2 weeks and the younger male is determined to beat up my 10 year old cat. My cat has a small tear in the tip of his ear which is healing nicely but he is now being very timid and jumpy. We've tried rescue remedy and were going to get felliway collars but they're expensive and I don't know what else to do. Have a spray bottle with water and a tiny bit of vinegar which the younger cat is afraid of but he comes right back. Help!!
